YOGA = Peace + Action
Join Dragonfly Yoga + Barefoot Yoga as we host the 2009 Global Mala Project.
Saturday, September 19th
9am – 6pm
The Landing Park on Brooks Street
Downtown Ft Walton Beach
What is Global Mala?
The purpose of the Global Mala is to unite the global yoga community from every continent, school or approach to form a "mala around the earth" through collective practices on Sept. 19th or 20th, Fall Equinox as the yoga world's offering to further the UN International Peace Day.
Area yoga studios, yoga teachers, and the Natural Health Community will be offering classes, lectures, and demonstrations beginning at 9am and ending with a park-wide meditation.
Profit from shirts and Love donations to benefit Shelter House.
What do I bring?
Plan to spend the day at the park. Pack a lunch, bring a blanket for the grass, and remember your yoga mat. All events will be in the shady areas at the Landing. Public restrooms are available and your kids are definitely welcome!
